Pretium Securities is an independent partnership founded by Luke Richardson and Daniel Loeber. Pretium securities provide a tailored service advising retail and professional clients wishing to trade in a wide range of investment vehicles and products including CFDs, FX, Shares, Spread betting, Commodities, and Structured products.

Why Pretium are different
To trade with Pretium Securities Ltd means you are not treated as just an account number. Each new account is assigned a designated broker who will listen to your investment needs and assess your appetite for risk. 

Pretium Securities can deliver what most big companies promise but never seem to achieve. We are relatively small which is why we understand that it is not important that every aspect of our client’s expectations are met: but exceeded.

All of Pretium Securities client money, assets and stock are held by market counterparties, depending on what instruments you are trading. All trades are facilitated through these parties.  We hope that this will give you peace of mind. Just because our clients are getting a bespoke service we want our clients to feel the security that only a large organisation can offer.

CFDs
In recent years Contracts For Difference (CFDs) have become ever more central to mainstream investment policies, and are now estimated to account for over 30% of all share transactions. During this time we have developed an expert and experienced team to provide our clients with professional advice and support to their CFD trading decisions.
Our Advisory service combines technical analysis with an understanding of your personal trading objectives to help you fully exploit the advantages CFDs have to offer for short-term trading.

Commodities
Our primary aim at Pretium Commodities is to unearth diverse opportunities that offer our clients movements across numerous asset classes.

As a boutique we can advise our clients swiftly and effectively in many markets. We offer flexibility and therefore the ability to tailor our service to meet the requirements of all investors. We understand that there is no such thing as a ‘typical client’ or a ‘typical portfolio’ and therefore, we focus our attention on meeting the individual specifications of each and every investor.

Contrary to popular belief, commodities are amongst the simplest and most transparent of investments. Until recently, these markets have only been open to institutions and ultra high net worth individuals. With recent product innovation and the pioneering IG Index and CMC Market platforms, all of the major (and many minor) commodities are now available to private investors with limited risk.

Many investors have been left unaware and un-hedged because of a lack of understanding and information. Pretium Commodities was formed to meet this clear requirement and we offer support and advice for all types of retail clients and corporate entities.

Structured products
Here at Pretium Securities we’ve been working to offer clients a diverse portfolio of structured, capital protected products.
Unlike other investment alternatives, retail structured products usually carry some form of capital protection. Often this is in the form of ‘hard’ protection –which guarantees or aims for investors to receive back up to 100% of their invested capital at maturity no matter how an index or underlying asset class has performed –or ‘soft’ protection, whereby the capital return is dependent on the index’s or underlying asset’s level at maturity.
Despite all the talk of green shoots, continued uncertainty over the outlook for equities has sparked unprecedented demand for the capital protection offered by protected products - and it is not difficult to understand the appeal.

And with interest rates low and likely to stay that way – indeed, the Bank of England recently admitted that inflation was ‘more likely to be below target in the medium term than above’ – investors seeking an attractive return for their capital have limited options.....
